What I Particularly Liked

The lessons have a quick, “get to the point fast” and fun approach. They are clearly narrated with well-illustrated slides that make it easy to understand the dos and don’ts of dog training. A benefit of this multimedia format for dog training is that you can hear the tone of voice that should be used for commands and you can see the correct stance for both you and your dog. This is where this online dog training course has an advantage over an e-book.

Although this course is not as comprehensive as some of the dog training e-books in areas such as dog behavior and specific dog breed information, it is jam-packed with knowledgeable and well-presented dog obedience and house training instructions for dog owners.

Dove Cresswell presents a very interesting and common-sense perspective on paper training. She believes that this is not a good practice as it is confusing for dogs. She explains in a very knowledgeable and easily understood way how puppies can be trained to always eliminate outside.

My Conclusions

I have to admit that my initial reaction was surprise that there were only 7 lessons in this premium course; however, my opinion quickly changed once I actually listened to the course and discovered the comprehensive amount of information covered in each lesson. I enjoyed the multimedia format of this online dog training course; so much so that I wished it would have lasted longer. The lessons are very easy to follow and you can model the techniques to train your own dog as effectively as the professional trainer.

The one downside of this course is that it can only be accessed online so people without an internet connection cannot view it. It is for this reason that I have given it a 4 ½ star rating. If it was also available as an e-book, I would definitely give it the highest possible rating.

I feel that this course would be highly effective for all dog owners but it is particularly suited to audio-visual learners who find e-books boring. So you know what to expect, you are invited to view a sample lesson before you buy the course.

The quality of Dove Cresswell's course is first rate and I strongly recommend it to all dog owners.
